DESCRIPTION:
Clocks- 2 (Two) oak mantel: Gilbert Clock Co. 8 day time and strike cabinet, c1895; Foster Campos plug in miniature long case later 20th century
CONDITION:
the Gilbert, included in their "Set of Champions", has bold patterns of leaves, birds and eggs in the nest. The original paper dial is dark and worn, and the movement needs cleaning although it ticks and strikes, Ht 17". The Campos brand appears on the back of this simple case, below the running Lanshire movement, but we have not seen this model before, Ht 14 3/4".
